The library also has lots of books on careers that include descriptions of jobs. You can find them by searching our library catalog for the words:

  • vocational guidance + field of interest
    • e.g.: hospitality vocational guidance

We also have a terrific book online (or at the Downcity Reference Desk) called the Encyclopedia Of Careers And Vocational Guidance. Try it as a starting point for any field!
