Q

I am a staff member, and I want to use ULearn, but my barcode is not being recognized by either Ulearn or the Library. How can I fix this?

Answer

Because you are a staff member, not faculty, ulearn does not have a record for you and therefore cannot put the number in the box.

If you have a barcode on your ID that you use at the library, that is the same number.  If you don’t have one, you may never have gone to the library to set up your library account and will need to do so to access the library materials.

Once you do have an ID with a library barcode, read below for information on the barcode, and how to use it to access library resources.

Your library barcode:

  • Is not your J number!
  • Is the longer number on your JWU ID card
  • Should appear right above or below the barcode
