Answer

The Gale AccessMyLibrary application for the iPhone, iPad, and for Android devices gives you mobile access to subscription library databases (without ever having to enter in your library barcode) including the Culinary Arts Collection, Biography in Context, Business Insights: Global.

It is free, and all you need is to be a current JWU student with a valid JWU.edu e-mail address.

Here is how you sign up for it:

1. Download the application. There are two ways to do so:

i. By searching for Gale AccessMyLibrary in either the Apple iTunes store, or the Android Market, and then downloading it.

ii. Or by using your phone's barcode reader to scan a QR code from below, and then downloading it from there

2. Once you have the application, then run it. You will be prompted to choose the state where you go to college, and then your university. Select "Rhode Island," and then "Johnson and Wales"

3. Enter in your JWU e-mail, and click return. Do not enter anything in the password box.

4. Check your JWU e-mail to receive your password. Now enter your username and password in the app, and click return.

You now have access to all of JWU's Gale databases on your mobile device!
