How can I post a persistent link to an article in a library database?

Answer

To link directly to an article in a database, you'll need to use a "persistent link." This will enable your students to use the link at any time, from on or off campus. (Just copying the URL in the address bar when looking at an article will not work.)

Most databases offer persistent links, although where you can find the link often differs.

As an example, articles from Science News can be found in full-text in the EBSCO database Academic Search Premier. To link to one of these articles, copy the URL from the "Persistent link to this record" box, outlined in red below.
