The JWU library doesn't buy audiobooks, but the Providence Public Library has hundreds you can download! You'll need a library card number from them to do that.
As a full-time JWU student, even if you're not a Rhode Island resident, you can get a library card at the Providence Public Library by showing a combination of proof of your JWU status (student ID, course schedule, or bill) plus proof of address (like a bill or a copy of your lease). PPL's web site includes all the details about getting a library card.
The Central Library of the Providence Public Library is just a few blocks from the JWU Downcity campus, and the Washington Park Community Library is the nearest location to the Harborside campus.
