The Downcity and Harborside libraries have copies of some textbooks at the main desk. You can search the library catalog for the name of your textbook before coming to the library to confirm if we have a copy or if there is an ebook option.
Any textbook you borrow from the desk can only be used in the library for up to 2 hours in most cases. The libraries have scanners near the desk to scan some pages, but due to copyright law you are not permitted to scan a copy of the entire book.
If you are a student in the College of Professional Studies you may request chapters to be emailed to you by completing the Textbook Chapter Scan form; the scan will be emailed to you within approximately 72 hours
If you need help with any of this, stop by the library or use our Ask a Librarian chat service to talk to us directly!
