Fall 2020: Under guidance from the Rhode Island Department of Health, and the Vice President for Johnson & Wales University Facilities, the following maximum safe occupancy numbers have been identified in order to assure at least six feet of distance between individuals using these facilities:
Maximum Safe Capacities (Fall 2020)
Area |
Max. Safe Capacity* |
Downcity Library 1st Floor |
25 |
Downcity Library 2nd Floor |
100 |
Harborside Library |

During hours of operation, library and museum personnel will be conducting hourly headcounts in all areas . Should any area reach the threshold for maximum safe capacity, no further visitors will be admitted until density has been reduced.
